POST /v1/cidr/cover

Submit IPv4 or IPv6 addresses and CIDR ranges as JSON. The response includes the smallest covering CIDR, normalized inputs, and exact address counts as decimal strings. This API request sends your inputs to the server.

curl -fsS https://api.packetrove.com/v1/cidr/cover \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"inputs":["203.0.113.1","203.0.113.2","203.0.113.6"]}'

This example returns 203.0.113.0/29 with 5 additional addresses. Check additionalAddressCount before using the result in an allowlist or blocklist.

GET /v1/public-ip

Return the public IP observed for this HTTP connection. Request text/plain for a single address followed by a newline, or application/json for an address and family. Responses are not cached. A VPN or proxy changes the observed exit address.

curl -fsS https://api.packetrove.com/v1/public-ip -H 'Accept: text/plain'
